Local Relocation for commercial and residential customers consist of the following services:

Local moves are charged by hourly rates. Hourly rates depend on the amount of movers and trucks involved in the job. Choosing the correct number of movers and correct size of a truck or trucks is the most important tasks in controlling the cost of your move.
The industry has figured out an approximate formula of size of residence to number of movers:
- Studio to Small 2 bedroom apartment (size: up to 600 cubic feet) - 2 Movers & 1 Truck (14'-20') size.
- Large 2 bedroom to 4 bedroom residence (size: 700 - 2,600 cubic feet) - 3 Movers & 1 Truck (24'-28') size.
- Large 4 bedroom residence and larger (size: 2,550 - 2,800 cubic feet) - 5 Movers & 2 Trucks.
These are some ranges for average size households. However each household is very different. In the past we have relocated residences that required loads of 4 large trucks, that took days.
To prevent surprises our specialists take a detailed room by room inventory of all items and add into computer program which provides the accurate size of the move and our dispatch department decide on the size of the crew and the cost of the move.

However there are many different factors that effect final cost of the local moving services such as:
- Packing and/or unpacking services,
- Flights of stairs and long walks,
- Shuttle services - require loading smaller (12'-14') truck or pick up trucks and reloading furniture into the full size truck,
- Crating of large fragile items (soft or wooden crates available),
- Dis-assembly and reassembly of furniture,
- Disconnecting and reconnecting appliances and electronics,
- Hoisting of large items through windows or balconies,
- Extra pick up and/or delivery locations,
- Garbage removal, etc.
Valencia Movers recommends customers with residence 3 bedroom or larger and all commercial clients to get a Free On Site estimate. Our estimator will observe the area and take detailed inventory and measurements of the items. It is very important to get us as much information regarding working conditions and geographical area of the residence. Estimator will scout the area to make sure we are prepared to deal with any kind of difficulty. This will help avoid any surprises!
We recommend an on site estimates for residential moves that are 3 bedrooms and larger and all commercial moves.
Valencia Movers has a number of experienced crews that are ready to assist our neighbors with their local moves. Our movers have been carefully selected by the management. They have been trained to deal with all intricacies of prepping and moving furniture.
Residential moves may vary from simple curb to curb deliveries, to multilevel homes, long walks, and even hoisting and some times shuttle service. Shuttle service may be required at an area where a regular size truck may not get in close to residence, due to location of the house (hills, curvy roads, trees etc.). In that case we reload shipment into a smaller van or in some cases large pick up trucks. Anything to get the move completed!
